It can treat many causes of mild to moderate pain and comes in the form of capsules, tablets and effervescent tablets. It works effectively in eliminating short-term pains and aches such as back pain.
Co-codamol can be taken for as long as you have been advised to. Taking excessive amounts can result in side effects such as sickness or dizziness.
It should not be taken with other forms of paracetamol, as this will cause an overdosage.
